avatar?
I really do believe that avatars can make you take a second look at their discussions and that often I bypass discussions due to lack of avatar.
I can not understand why someone who has been here a few days has not uploaded an avatar as yet and I think it reflects how much interest they have in the site.

You know that is true.
I have found myself passing by those discussions also.
One would think that after a few days they would change there avatar.

my decision of whether to respond to a particular discussion or not depends on the topic of the discussion.
it really does not matter to me if the mylotter has his own avatar uploaded or not.

No that doesn't bother me in the slightest, although I love to view different avatars in the process of being on Mylot. I just reply to whatever discussions I can from my friends or niewbies alike whenever I get the chance to relax and post replies. I give every one I can my best and a fair reply, even if my opinion my slightly differ from every one else's. I love to be here on Mylot and that has never bothered me, though I do look at people's avatars out of interest.

yes avatars are great to identify people even if not of a personal photo, and yes it makes me take a second look or may catch my eye even before reading the subject of the discussion, I think people who go avatarless are losing their "identity" in our community and a lot of other members just ignore them..
