Sandbox fun

The other day my daughter played in a sandbox for the very first time. She had a blast! We went to the zoo and in the kiddie area of the zoo they have a giant sand box. We took some time to let her play in the sandbox while we relaxed a little. She had sand all over her by the time we left but it was so much fun.

My son loves the sandpit too, though as he gets older he is showing less interest.A couple of years ago, we actually bought a little turtle shaped pool, and filled it with sand instead, and he loved having his own. Loves to build castles and fun stuff like that.And don't you just love the way you find the sand coming out of pockets and cuffs later, even though you think it's all been dusted off, lol!!
