Is there anyway to get rid of our make the strech marks less notable after the pregnancy? Or should I just still use cocoa butter lotion?

Try and keep the area as "moist" as possible... My mum applied Palmer's cocoa butter on her belly twice a day every day once she started showing and she hasn't got any strechmarks! Also, massaging the skin will increase it's elasticity

i don't think you can get rid of them forever.a part of them disappear ,not at all just they won't be seen such obviously.that's because they go thinner and thinner.but most of the stretch marks remain visible all our life.depends very much on the elasticity of your skin.that's why it was very important during the pregnancy and before to use creams rich in vitamin e or simply baby oil or olive oil to prevent them.to get definitely rid of them totaly it's impossible.only if you lose surgery might get some results.i have many stretch marks,i have used a lot of types of creams and i was studying many informations about stretchmarks.i lost about 30 kilos before gaving birth and the shape of the stretch marks changed in a manner but they still are there and are so ugly .that's how i see them, but i'm not shame to wear short, mini or t-shirts up to my belly

I got super super lucky and didn't get any stretch marks on my stomach when I was pregnant, but I have old ones on my legs that seem to get lighter over time but I'd be interested if anyone has a way to make them go away faster! :)

We used aloe vera gel(like you use for sunburn) on my daughters tummy while she was preg with my grandson and found that the stretch marks faded. It really seemed to help the older stretch marks to fade. I was amazed because the old ones are hard to get rid of.

Gradual fading of the stretch marks on the stomach does occur. Stretch marks on the legs do seem to take longer to fade, but over time they should become as faint as those elsewhere. Putting creams or oils on the skin will not repair the damaged skin, but it is likely to improve its condition. Exercising regularly and eating a good balanced diet with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables will also help.

Some stretch marks will fade & some won't. There are creams and lotions that are suppose to help heal scars of any type but I don't have any personal experience with that to give an opinion on how well they work. Sunbathing will make them more pronounced by the way, so avoid tanning.
