After you sneeze, someone besides you will say God Bless you, so I like to know what is the meaning of saying God Bless you after someone sneezes and why there is such tradition.

its a rule or saying in our religion that whenever you sneeze ,god is happy with it as whenever u sneeze ,you or someone else near you remember Gods name and thus its another reason to remember god quite often.
but whenever you yawn then you are said to keep your hand beside your mouth ....its because when u yawn with your mouth wide open...the satan gets the great chance to move inside your body or rather soul.
so sneeze and remember your god always.......god bless you.

Does your story has proven in reality? Is it real that when you yawn, the satan will go into the body?

Hi, below is one theory of how this tradition came:
In 14th century, a sneeze was the first sign of the disease called plague. When people sneeze, it was taken that they are sick and proabbly going to die. Hence 'God bless you '. It may not make you feel better, but is seen as being kind and polite good manners.
