For which type of discussions do people give more reply(in mylot)?

Dear gayathripraveen Well this is the question which always comes in my mind.. but all I can think about the answer of this question is -- I used to lookout for the members with higher ratings .. and I keep on looking at their discussions and their way of responding to discussions .. I noticed that they used to write as much as they can .. and on the same hand they are totally descriptive. Their discussion is a real quality discussion .. whenever I go through their discussion .. something really prompt me to respond to that discussion, they use very simple language. Also I used to avoid just one or two lines discussion -- because we don't get anything by responding to one or two lines discussion.

Hi gayathri! I think people would respond to discusions which they can relate to. To get more responses in my lot you have to pick up popular cagories like life,friends,people,relationships,love etc than finding your own topics. Here the more friends you have the more chances are there in getting responses. If you have a 1000 friends your response or discussion would definitely be 100 plus. All the Best.

I have been here for over a month now and I have only two "alot of responses" under me...lol..I try t post on topics that I know about, like parenting, motherhood, music, or mylot. The key to getting responses are through the tags. If you tag your discussions, tag it with atleaast ten phrases. That way your discussion will be spread out into different interest:)
