Dogs and Mosquitoes

With all the rain we've had in Texas, the mosquitoes are coming out in droves! I'm worried about my dogs. They are on heartworm preventative, but there are other diseases they can get from bites. Not to mention the discomfort and itching. What is the best thing to use to keep them away from my dogs?
