Do you leave your dog alone in the house?

Do you leave your dog alone at home when you go to work. I live in a joint family so my dog was never left alone. If we all had to go some place where dogs were not allowed I left him with friends but never alone.

we dont leave our dog alone any one will b there to look after him.

Good to know that your dog is so well cared for. I always feel sorry for dogs who have to stay alone even for a little while because dogs are such social species. They love company.

My neighbor leaves her dog home alone when she goes to work. she has no choice she is a single mom of 3. What she did so her dog didnt feel totally alone was to get a cat for her dog to play with.

Neat, so the cat keeps the dog busy, I must suggest this to my friends who have to do the same.

Yes unfortunately we have to leave our dog alone while we go to work. But when we are off we take her with us everywhere. IF she can't go, sometimes one of us will stay home with her. I feel too guilty to leave her when we are off work. But when she was a puppy, I would leave her with my mom or a friend. I never left her alone. She is 2 years old now and our baby girl.

Yes it is indeed unfortunate but I suppose she is now used to it and must be giving you a very bubbly welcome daily when you come home. I am very happy to note that most of the people refer to their pets as their children because I felt the same way with mine.
