Does fruit and vegetables from the farm taste the same as stuff you buy at the supermarket? If not, why do you suppose that is?

Basically the fruits and vegetable from store and home grown are different in terms of the quality and the freshness. The home grown vegetable and fruits taste good and better nutritious as well because we don't use the pesticide or other chemical.

fruits and vegetables we can get directly from farm are more sweeter and taste even better than those in supermarket. like for example the corn in the cob when it's so fresh really great, so soft and sweet. a garden fresh salad vegetables taste heavenly when fresh like tomatoes be crunchy and leaves we have in the plate be crispy as it is from the farm. supermarket supplies are already travelled from the sources and been stored for a day or more as we can purchase it. but we don't have no choice if we are living far from any farms but still some preserve freshness from a temperature controlled container or whatever procedures.

I've noticed that there's a flavor difference. I've wondered why there's a difference. I think it's probably because of the soil. Ground used for commercial produce growing maybe has less nutrients in it because it's used so much. Whereas a farm might not have that problem. Just a guess, tho.
