Prefer... Spectacles or Contact Lens

I worn spectacles for 32 years, it had been with me since I am a kid. I so use to spectacles till I feel something missing beside my watch is my spectacles. The only time I remove it is during sleeping and shower.
I understand that contact lens is convenient and you won't get hurt easily during ball game. But, I simply can't get my eye off the spectacles frame when I was at the optical shop. How about you, if you have to put on glasses, will you choose the spectacles or contact lens?

Hi.
I have needed eye correction for over 10 years and have worn contact lenses. They are a pain because you have to keep them clean of course and eyes tend to get dry if wearing them for long periods. I would get eye surgery if i had the money but surgery on my eye kind of scares me.
I have an old pair of specs that i have kept to wear around the house but i usually wear my contacts if i go out anywhere. I have gotten used to lenses so it's not a big inconvenience to me. I used the disposable contacts so that i can just out in a pair whenever i need to which. Sometimes i won't wear them for weeks and where the spectacles instead. It's nice to have the option.

I tend to rub my eyes a lot to while wearing them because my eyes are getting dry. They actually have disposal lenses for people with dry or itchy eyes. I also have eye drops i use that are made for lenses so this keeps my eyes refreshed so i don't tend to rub them. The cost is not bad because i can make a box of disposable co ntacts last 6 months since i dont wear them everyday.

I chose glasses for a few reasons the main one is that my insurance covers them and not contacts. I used to wear them when i was younger my mother used to buy them for me and i likes them beacuse there wasnt anything on my face that i had to keep pushing up and if i were sweating i didnt have to remove the glasses before wiping my brow. But i have an abnormaly large retna i think and so i had a problem with my eyes getting really really dry so i stopped wearing them for that reason. They problualy have a lens especially made for my condition now but they are pretty exspensive and i wouldnt always be able to afford them

I prefer spectacles to contact lens.
To be honest, I haven't tried the latter but I think they would not be too comfortable on the eyes. Besides, you can't wear them for prolonged periods.
Spectacles help to cover your dark eye rings too. :P

I think I would choose the specs. They could be a nice fashion statement. :) They are also easy to put on and take off.
On the other hand, coloured contact lenses can change the colour of your eyes. I think being able to change eye colour is also quite cool.

Hi maehan!!
I have not used any contact lens or any glasses till now..My eyes were very powerfull but now a days i am getting problems with my eyes i cannot use my computer for a longtime.i have to use glasses soon when i am using computer..I heard that contact lens makes our eyes worse and we must take care more than spectacles..I would go for spectacles..
