Is anyone going to any of the midnight parties?

I'm going to the midnight book release and I'm going to pre-order tickets so I can go to the first showing of the movie. Is anyone else doing this? Are you going to read the your book right away when you get it at midnight, or are you going to get a good night's sleep first so you are actually awake enough to understand what's going on?

yes, I've pre-ordered the book from border's and plan on going to their midnight release...I will stay up all night reading...
I also plan on getting advanced tickets for opening night of movie 5. I think they go on sale soon.

I think they do too, and I'm guessing they're going to sell out pretty quickly as well.

Oh... I don't think I will be going to the midnight book release. But the movie.... I think that is possible. It's my birthday on July 12th and I have told my hubby that I would like the movie tickets and the book as my birthday gifts this year. How do you know where the movie is going to be screened? Do we have to pre-order the 7th book in order to get it on the day of its release?
