Does Hoodia really do any good?

We all have heard about it for several years. You can find it or versions of it almost anywhere. It sounds like a miracle drug and when it comes to miracle drugs...you need to trust it with a grain of salt. Has anyone tried it? do you think it is for real? what are it's benefits?

I did not even know what was "Hoodia". So, I typed "hoodia" in the search engine at the top of the myLot page. I learned more than I needed to know! I even found a web site that described why it does not work for some people. One big problem is that there is a lot of fake hoodia out there, so be careful.

I have not tried this because I am waiting to hear some genuine success stories. Not the paid endorsements you see in the magazines and on tv, but real people who have tried this and say it makes a difference. My guess is that it does not make that much difference, except in your pocketbook.

hoodia cactus - I like to take green tea with hoodia. It does really seem to suppress my appetite.
I am not sure but I take a green tea tablet that has hoodia in it and I can tell a difference in my appetite. When I just took the green tea tablets I would start to get hungry within a couple of hours but with the green tea with hoodia, I don't get hungry until around noon. I don't have the cravings that I did with just the green tea. NOw you might say that it is all in my head but the funny thing is when I first started using the green tea with hoodia I didn't realize I was taking it. You may be asking how is that possible. Well, I'll tell you. I went grocery shopping at wal-mart and picked up the bottle of green tea tablets where I normally do but then I noticed when I was taking them that my hunger was suppressed longer so I looked at the bottle to see if maybe I got a higher dosage green tea or what and it said now with hoodia so I guess that is what is doing it.

While everyone searches for that pill or substance this plant is stressed with the cultivation of it. We just need to monitor ourselves and take the time to allow our bodies to lose the weight that we gradually put on over time. A lifestyle needs to be adopted to allow for better health, lifestyle and diet. No need to take some substance really. Let the plant live.

I tried it for a little while, only a week or so, but I stopped using it because I didn't like the effects it had on my body. Let's just say that I ended up spending a lot of time in the restroom each day. And on top of that, no matter how much water I drank, I kept feeling thirsty and dehydrated. I don't think I was meant to be taking that stuff, but for others I'm sure it works quite well.

I still have a lot of doubts about Hoodia and that is why I have not tried it just yet. I am not really a fan of anything like that when it comes to loosing weight.
