Have you ever met someone with an obvious mental condition...they talk to themselves...they dance thru the grocery store, skipping and singing...they do odd mysterious things...beyond conception...Yet they are not medicated...should be...and who do you notify..lol?

I dont think all people who do these things are mental. I have a friend who does all the things you mentioned and he is perfectly normal and just enjoys life. I wish sometimes I could be more like chris.

Ohh I see you've met some friends of mine LOL!! J/K yes, I know people who do this, but it's actually very normal. Most people who are happy and comfortable with themselves will often act out, not as a cry for help but just to share how they feel. Hey many people do odd things, that dosen't mean they are crazy, I do a lot of odd things and I'm fine. Nothing wrong with just being yourself and happy with who you are. :)

I'm odd sometimes myself and being normal is overrated...but I do think there are some people...who are a danger to themselves and their family and need help...whether meds or therapy etc. I have also taken antidepressants and understand the side effects...

I met a psychotic man over the internet. Trouble is it took 3 months for it to come out and he became manipulative controlling and full of head games. I knew he was insane the way he would dance from one topic of conversation to the next and his voice would change incredibly. He would go from smooth southerner to high pitched to child like to teenager whos-in-a-mood routine. It took a long time to figure out, because we spent most of our time talking on messenger, and he held it together during internet chats. Easier to typen than speak i guess. I notified his parents, and the police when he started threatening me, but he's a smooth talker and tried to convince them I was ill. I gave up in the end.
