What makes you Wary!?

There are many things in life which we can’t compromise on. GOD/gods, religion, family, friends, job, future and possessions etc. There are things which make us uncertain, offended, distracted, humiliated and insecure. We all tend to avoid them.
I would like to know that what makes you wary of someone or something? To what limit do you trust people? Or how much suspicious or cautious you are in life?

I am terrible, I trust most people until proven otherwise but I am wary of scams on the internet now and try to do a lot of due diligence first before I sign up for a program that I have to part money with, although I am one for taking risks I try to make a balanced assessment as far as possible. But we all make mistakes and even with the best of intentions, stuff up at times lol. But nonetheless I never give up and always do my best not to give up in believing in the good of mankind.

I see that I can relate to much of what you said. My first feeling for someone is also that I'll trust no matter what other people say about him/her until proven otherwise. But I do keep a distance for a while until I develop a complete trust and when it's there it's usually difficult to shake my trust. I can also see why you would be wary of scams as there are plenty of them these days. I rarely use internet for money matters, I don't know why but I still have to develop trust in them but then I too like taking risk to an extent and I would admit that I make mistakes. It's specially so with the people. Still I'll trust until I have seen proof that I am being fooled or betrayed or whatever.
