So how active are you with your children's school, do you attend meetings as necessary? Do you let your child go it alone when it comes to school?

Besides attending classes, myself and my wife participate in parents teachers meeting and also visit their exhibitions, sports meet etc.

That's fantastic, I grew up going it alone in school and that's rough on a kid...what great parents!

Here in Bangalore schools insist on parents visiting the school other wise next year continuity is at stake. Thanks for your comments.

By force or not, it makes a difference, Americas' schools could take a lesson from that policy. Children need their parents involvement or they feel like it's a waste of time for themselves as well.

Me and my wife will participate any activities together with my son as we wish to growth together with him and thats was encourage by the school as well:)

Very active! I love being involved with my sons school. I volunteer whenever possible! I think me being involved will make him want to be more involved!
