Hello! Now I'm confident about virus removal, if you think you're infected, post a HijackThis log for me to take a look. You can get HijackThis here: http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html Run it, make a log and post here.

A red colour round icon with white colour multiplication mark inside it, is appearing on the computer screen right side down along with other icons like volume, internet connection etc. When mouse is kept on it, it says your computer is infected. What to do? I have run SE anti spyware and avg anti virus and no results. Please help me. I am a senior citizen with limited computer knowledge. Please guide me in simple language. Thanks in advance.

You need to make a HijackThis log, it's the only way to see what's wrong. Maybe you got some kind of spyware... looks like a rogue software.

Wow, it is terrific that you have learned so much about this! I have looked at thay program, I wish it was around in 2003 when I got hit by various trojans and viruses five times. I used to own a traffic exchange, so I was exposed to a lot of malware when I would check the sites before allowing them into the surf. I will bookmark this page, thank you very much. I am pretty well protected, I learned the hard way, but stuff happens and new bugs are created every day. Be well!

I'm glad to help! I hope you don't have any problems, viruses ans other malwares can be very annoying. I helped a friend to remove a MSN virus last week.
