Shaping up Shilpa!

'She is genetically blessed, her anatomy and fat percentage is just right.' Reality show Big Brother might have shaped Shilpa Shetty's career, but there's someone who shaped, well the actress herself. But Sherin Poojari, Shilpa's fitness trainer, doesn't want to take all the credit for the sexy body that Shilpa flaunts. "She is genetically blessed, her anatomy and fat percentage is just right. Her training biometer, strength, endurance, speed is fast. So the results too are seen faster. Besides, she is very dedicated and works out religiously to keep herself fit," says the trainer who also holds a second degree black belt in judo. Sherin was introduced to Shilpa by her younger sister Shamita Shetty. "I used to train Shamita and Shilpa was looking out for a personal trainer. That's when Shamita introduced me to her," says Sherin who trains Shilpa in her personal gym at home. For Shilpa, London may be like her s e c o n d home, and now her trainer too is heading to the UK but this time, not to train her but to g et t r a i n e d . UK's top fi t n e s s t r a i n e r C a i n Lethium, whose students are trainers to Hollywood celebs like Robert De Niro, Daniel Craig and other wellknown olympic medallists and national league boxers has invited him there. Cain will coach Sherin who will also then guest lecture Indians there on how to get into shape. Though this master may go on to train celebs not just in India but abroad as well but he still maintains, "I have not seen anyone as dedicated as Shilpa Shetty. Even if she has a busy schedule and we have chalked out a plan, she will take time out for it." Besides Shilpa, which other Bollywood actress does he think has a great body? "After Shilpa I would rate Bipasha Basu, Mallika Sherawat, Priyanka Chopra, Esha Deol and Aishwarya," says Sherin whose client list consists of only women. "It's strange but only women come to me. The only male that I train, is myself," he laughs. And he perhaps is also the only man who can say, 'I know Shilpa's body like the back of my hand.' "Yes it's true. By now I can tell you how much time her body will take to get into a particular shape," he says.
