This is the good way: You earn at least 1 cent from anything you post and from photos. In your answers to others, you get more earnigs if it is good quality and if you get marked as "best response". In your discussions, you earn more if they are good quality and if they get responded with quality also, and with many responses. In your photos it is difficult to earn more than 1 cent, but it depends on how many people rate them[+], and maybe also on how many people comment them. I don't know about blogs, I think it must be like photos.

Well, you should take it very slowly here on mylot. The magic is when you have your own dicussion or you start a new one. The more people will respond to you discussion the more you eran. Its always like this on the first phase here on mylot, I assure I was once there before and now I have reached 1500 posts.
