Do you often use your caredit card for any transactions?

When I got my first credit card I was so excited. I used it on all of my purchases. My logic then is to earn rewards points and then pay it in cash. But when the bills came, I opted to pay the minimum ever since then I got stuck with paying just the minimum. I've learned my lesson the hard way. Now I hardly use my credit card on any purchases unless it's really not in the budget. I don't have any thing against credit cards, but you really have to use it with caution. How about you what are your experiences with credit cards? How did you manage it. Would appreciate your tips.
