When you were married, how were your spouse's side relations with you?

When you got married newly, how did your spouse's side relations moved with you? Did you feel comfortable or frightened? My husband's side eight children, all married and got 2 or 3 children, it really took some time for me to know all of them. Till then I had some fear and I was hesitating as to what to talk and how to talk with them. How did you feel?

My husband's family accepted me very well. I accepted them as well. I just seemed to fit in really easy. I am an only child and my husband fit in very good in our family. He was my parents new son. LOL They loved him like a son and he loved them like a mama and daddy.

So you did not have starting trouble of mingling with new family. That is really good to know.
