Yahoo is a good site. But now a days it is very lazy to open. Why?

I don't seem to be having any problems opening up yahoo.com or my yahoo email. But I have been having a problem signing on to yahoo instant messenger. All weekend long it was saying there were problems signing in and to try again later. I double and triple checked my id and password and they were correct. So I don't know what the problem was but it seems to be working fine now. Best of luck!

I have been using yahoo for lomg time and for the same above reasons Im not using it for a long time.I prefer using Gmail these days.

Yahoo has become slow to open because it has over 50 lakhs registered users which check their mail daily.As more traffic is on yahoo every time their server can not work very fast opening different yahoo pages to each and every users online.Which is main reason for slowing of yahoo.
