Well in 2001 I recieved my AA in Elementary Education with an emphasis on Special Eductaion, now I hope to recieve my BA in juvenile Criminal Justice. After I have completed my courses and recieve my degree I plan to take the PRAXIS for Special Education and become a Special Education Teacher. I worked as a Reletated Sevices Tech. for seven years which includes: speech thearapy, occupational thereapy and one to one aide for children with disabilities. I Love it! Unfortunatly, my son is also disabled and I resigned to take care of him.

My mum thinks it's a waste if I don't go into medicine. I'm interested in it but I don't think I can get into med school with my less-than-pristine grades and records :P I'll go into a service industry because I like doing things that benefit people, like teaching. If I had a speck of artistic flair or talent I'd go into fashion design, but that area's already over-saturated.

I've never tought much about choosing a profession, never considered money, availability of jobs and stuff like that. I always felt compelled to work with history, museums and research. Now, I'm graduating on Museology, wich is the study of Museums, their collections, relation with the public and community, and how to administrate them in every level, from the conservation and study of the objects, to the promoting and assembling of expositions. May sound very cool for those who, like me, are also inclined towards these subjects, But I do not intend to work on a museum. After I graduate, I'll go for a Master's degree in Archaeology. Yes, maybe I've watched too many Indiana Jones' movies, but I love the idea of searching for the remains, both physical and intellectual, of ancient civilizations.
