Evolution VS Creationism

Which do you believe in? Personally, I think evolution makes more sense. I mean, you can almost see it in different animals (ex: chimps). What are some of your thoughts on this debate?

I thought evolution was scientifically disproven a few years ago...but maybe that's just what I heard. It's much, much harder for me to imagine all life popping out of nowhere with some random incident and then humans transforming from tadpoles. Nah. It doesn't make sense. I've never looked at a gorilla and thought...hmmm he could be my ancestor.

I think you need to find out what evolution and natural selection actually are.

I believe in evolution only. It makes the most sense to me and I don't care if we evolved from tadpoles or monkeys - I don't understand why people can get so worked up about that, the whole evolving of species is extremely interesting and shouldn't be so easily dismissed. Sure, it's all just a theory, but I just have such a hard time taking creationism seriously as it just seems to make such little sense to me. I have to take into account that I believe most of the bible is meant to be symbolic and that 7 days could have easily meant 7000 years. Intelligent design means nothing to me as I believe that all life was just created by mere chance - the big bang. It's amazing how certain things have turned out, but I believe it's all just mere luck really.

I definitly believe in evolution, and my religious beliefs are based on it. Through my christian learning I have been told the church don't take the creationism no more as a literal theory, but as a poetic methaphore. But also I am not exactly christian, and I have found other religions with Orogenias more in the line of evolution....

My view..in the end does it really matter?? Is it going to change our lives now??? Wether I am the child of Adam and Eve or an ancestor of a monkey. I am who I am...for me the matter is null and void in my life. I am here and now and the past can't change that. But monkeys are cool! And Eve was a rebel. LOL
