Apparently it was reported on the Wrestling Observer that Ron Killings and Konnan had quit TNA for various reasons. At this time, neither have been granted an official release though it is expected to happen soon.
As far as Konnan, I must admit that one came as a surprise but I guess that's why LAX hasn't been a main focus like it was earlier in the year. He had to have surgery and it's alleged that TNA wouldn't help him but not sure how valid or true it is. I guess only time will tell so I shall wait and see what really happened but I don't think the whole story will ever come out.
For Killings, I was expecting this to happen sooner or later given the fact he hasn't really done anything major in a while. His last gimmick before his injury was that of an inspiring movie star. For a long time, I actually wondered if he was fired from the company or just injured. I found out later about a few weeks ago he was actually injured and then he makes a report about him and Cena having a confrontation but nothing happened. His last match was involved in a tag team match teaming James Storm against Jerry Lynn & Frank Wycheck.
It will be interesting to see what happens next with these 2. Only time will tell.

Konnan was apparently granted his release, according to the website Wrestlezone.com. However, Killings has just asked for it but I don't know if he's been granted it or not. Funny thing to not is that he wrote on his blog on his official myspace page that he's been wanting to be released so that he could return to the WWE and confront John Cena (regarding their differences and issues with each other). I don't know if the WWE will have him back, but that might be something because that heat between Cena and Killings is not kayfabe, it's real.

I've never seen his myspace. I take it the Killings/Cena heat is like a he said/she said type ordeal or something else.
