OK, This may sound weird, but for three days in a row, I smelled chocolate cake, then one day passed, an no more chocolate cake smell, the next day after that i started smelling the smell of a can of coffee being opened for the first time. That lasted for three days, so far today, there has been no smell, my daughter also smells these same smells, but my husband thinks we are going crazy. What do you think could be causing us to smell these smells, there has been no cake of any kind even near my house and no one has opened a fresh can of coffee in over two weeks. Furthermore, we do no live very close to anyone as we live in the country and the houses are spaced a good bit apart. Anyone have any ideas f what is going on here, my daughter's doctor said that we have a ghost in the house. I just laughed t her and went on.

Well, my first thought was a possible brain tumor. Got to rule that out, because you said your daughter was exhibiting the same symtoms. So, I would have to agree with the doc...its probably a ghost!

Thanks a lot, the thought of a braqin tumor scares me a lot more than the thought of sharing my home with an entity that just seems to want to mess with me.

You may very well have a ghost. I know to you that may seem a bit off, but it is possible. My mother in law has one in her home, and even when no one is in the kitchen, we can smell things that are not there. Funny thing is the ghost knows exactly what we are craving, so it brings out the smell. It's happend a lot in her home. Don't worry you have a friendly one in there. Yes, I do believe in them and I have seen them. Enjoy it, after awhile it will stop.

My dada seems to think it is my mom's spirit, he even tried to call her out, by telling her to rattle a plastic bag that was sitting on my coffee table.
