How often do you do your own research when responding to topics?

I find that more often than not I look up helpful links and facts for people because I think that we should try and share as much knowledge as we can on here and I think this is what myLot should be about. You can really tell the people that are not particulary interested in myLot cos they never seem to hit out with actual facts or helpful information when responding. I do understand that not every topic requires research as alot of it is speaking from personal experience but if it looks like their may be oppurtunity to research stuff then I will do it. It makes it all the more exciting!

Most times I just respond from personal experience but there have been a few times when I read something that just didn't set right with me and I've gone and done my own research. I do so much research for my work that most times I just want to relax and enjoy myself on myLot.

Hey, I do know you do research as you have on some of my discussions. It nice sometimes when people do a bit of research for you cos it makes you feel a bit touched that even a "stranger" cares enough!

Well, I do actually enjoy researching and if I can find the answer to something no one else has I will at least try.

I usually reply to topics i am comfortable with, As its is of no use to reply to something you have no clue about afterall the person asking the respective question would want a good as well a convincing answer.
