where is the best place youve been on holiday and why?

I have been to many places over the years on holiday, belgium, greece, corfu, tenerife, cyprus, bulgaria, costa del sol, holland, majorca, bournemouth, donegal, orlando and portugal and out of these i would say that Orlando was by far the best holiday ever ive been there twice 3 years ago and 2 years ago, 2 years in a row.
The people were amazing so so nice, the food was gret and cheap and also big portions and you were never bored of thigs to do, we stayed in a villa too it was unbelieveable, 2nd best wud be portugal last year loved the country beautiful and again the people very friendly, where have you been on holiday and what was your favourite and why?

It sounds like you have had some lovely holidays. I am sure that Orlando was amazing. I also really love to travel. My favourite sort of destinations are tropical islands. I went to French Polynesia and the Cook islands in 2001 on my way to New Zealand. I loved seeing the palm fringed beaches. I went to Samoa in 2002. I loved the culture and the stunning scenery of waterfalls and a Polynesian pyramid deep in the middle of the jungle. In 2003 I went to Croatia and Montenegro. I liked the beautiful coastline and doing a spot of island hopping. In 2004 I went to the Seychelles. I just loved La Digue Island. It was very unspoilt with bikes the only form of transport. In 2005 I went to the Maldives. I found it very expensive but it did have some gorgeous islands. Last year I went to Bulgaria and Romania. The countryside was beautiful and I found a nice village on the Black Sea. This year I have a new baby so we are thinking of going to Portugal. It would be lovely to see somewhere unspoilt in the Algarve and see some of Lisbon. Evora also looks like an interesting place to go.
My favourite holiday would be in 2006 to Belize, Guatemala and Mexico. I flew to Cancun and then bused down to Belize. I stayed on a gorgeous island called Caye Caulker. I did lots of snorkelling seeing sharks and sting rays. I stayed in a tall tree house. That was fun! I visited some lovely Mayan sites.

hi maxi, yeah orlando was amazing, we were in portugal last year in April for a week cos we were due our first baby in sept last year so got a wee holiday in before the arrival, we stayed in Albufeira in Algarve i would highly recommend it, we stayed in Albufiera Old Town and it was lovely, beaches, wee old cobbled streets, def next best after Orlando...some of those places you have been i could only dream off seeing, could never afford to get them but they all sound beautiful. you will love Portugal the people and the country are fantastic.

Well well, I've also been to most of those places and many more, including Africa, Japan and North America, but I still ove my little corner here in Portugal. Have you tried the busy and historical northern side of Portugal? I would suggest the wonderful Coimbra (also known as Aeminium by the Romans), Porto, Braga and Guimaraes.
