Usefulness of landyards?

Do you find lanyards very useful? I hardly use the ones I have got and I have like a whole collection of them now! I mean, who wants to wear things around their neck (unless it is their security pass and they have to) the whole time you are at work? I wear my cool landyards - if I have to. So, what does your lanyard have? Is it your keys, USB stick, phone, ID? Looking forward to seeing what you have on your lanyard and what you use your lanyard for!

I use to have wear a Lanyard at an old job, but got a clip for it instead, it was a bit cumbersome, hanging in my face when I was working (I moved around a lot, at my old job) so I got a clip.

I do not think that I am a fan of them at all but I think they are cool for other people just not me.
