I was so excited for him that it happened at a game he attended. My husband is a true baseball fan. He loves keeping up with all the records and statistics and is a real history buff about the game. Tickets to this game were his father day gift from our son, so that is kind of special too.
I am watching my son develop into a little baseball lover right before my eyes. He wants to be just like his daddy, which is so sweet to watch.
Have you been to any notable sports events like that? The crowd really gets into it and it is so much fun.

Hello,i used to watch baseball(on the TV) before,i still remember the days when Sammy was in Chicago,I am not sure which team he is playing now as it seemed that he had been traded long times ago.
I am quite interested in rugby games and i may go to watch the live games occasionally,i think watching them live is very different from watching on the TV as you can be more involved into the games in the stadium.

Oh, it is totally different watching them live. Rugby is fun to watch. My husband used to play in college... it is a lot like American football.
Sammy plays for the Texas Rangers now. Many say that he came out of retirement just so he could hit the 600 mark. I'm happy he made it.

My boyfriend LOVES baseball and last night was a BIG night for us with Greg Biggio hitting 3000 hits last night for the first time, we had the television up loud and calling friends to tell them it happened. We have tickets tonite for the Astros game, which he was kind of hoping to be at the game when it happened, but I believe he was so excited to be involved it does not matter any longer that he did not witness it first hand.
