well shabutie was actually an old band with 2 of the members of coheed. mic todd and claudio sanchez. where on earth does it use that word in the lyrics?? i dont see it

Shabutie was the name of their old band. But in keeping (haha no pun inteneded) with the story and theme of the band, If you've read their comics, The Amory Wars, the word shabutie is an exclamation. The equivalent of our 'YAY.' Or something to that effect.

According to Wikipedia 'Shabutie' was the band name before it was changed in 2001 and is taken from a film called 'The Naked Prey'. In the film it is the African tribe's chant for naked prey.
