Is anyone here a member of Shutterstock?

I recently did a search on google for "get paid for pictures" and found a website called Shutterstock that promises to pay 25 cents for every picture that you upload. I have not yet had the chance to read through the site thoughly or to join because it require that you have a picture of your ID to join, they say it's to prevent fraud, and my scanner isn't working right now. It sounds like a pretty good site if all you have to do is take pictures and upload them and you make money. I am wondering if anyone here is a member and if so what can you tell me about the site? Do they really pay? Are there restricitons on what photos they accept? I hope it's as good as I think it sounds now.
