Two Fourteen Year Old Girls Were Kicked Off The Bus For Kissing Each Other!!

I in no way endorse these acts by the fourteen year olds, but if Someone did this to my child, they would forever regret it. In Portland, Oregon 64 year old school bus driver put two girls off of the bus after another girl complained about them kissing. She could have put these girls lives in danger. Most parents feel comfortable with their children riding on a school bus. They believe that their children will be picked up and dropped off safely where they are suppose to be. What this driver did was make a personal decission in a professional setting and there was nothing right about it. She should be fired and the company should be sued. There is just no way that those kids should have removed from that bus for that. It was not that serious.

Rozie we do not the whole story at face value it sounds horrible. What else was going on? Did the bus driver try to split the girls up? Did she warn the girls? Has this been a problem before? When my children rode the bus if they did not obey the rules we got a note from the bus driver. It is a privilege to ride the bus not a school obligation. Now if it was the first time this happened and the driver did not ask the girls to stop, she just kicked them off the bus then she should lose her job and the school or bus lines should get sued.

I have to disagree with you on this one. As long as those girls were not harming anyone they should never have been put in harms way. The bus company is not standing behind her and says that she will be disciplined.

Why didn't the bus driver just tell the two girls to stop kissing if it was upsetting others instead of kicking them off the bus?!? the driver certainly put those two girls in danger and if I was their mother I would make sure something was done about it.

I was thinking that maybe she asked them to stop and they didn't or were bad mouthing her. However, putting them off the bus like that was using poor judgement. She should have called in to her supervisor or someone, before making such a decission. In this case her pride that came from their defiance, could have caused her to go to far.

what angers me is why someone who thinks its ok to kick kids off busses if they do something he doesnt like, is allowed near children in the first place. Why oh why cant we purge the biggots from society? closed minds should be either educated or expelled

No not in today's world. No one was hurt. All though he didn't like them kissing he really has no right to kick them off of the bus for that no one was in danger or hurt.I agree she should be fired. Although I don't like hearing about 2 girls kissing either.

I would go crazy if I had a kid that was removed from the bus. What happened to these kids after they got removed from the bus? I think the bus driver could have just told them to stop kissing or something like that. I definitely think that bus driver will be sued.
