From my point of view (I'm originally from the Netherlands, the first country where - I think - gay marriage was allowed so I'm very open minded about this) I don't see a problem with it at all. If two people have a loving and respectful relationship together and they want to make it official, does it truly matter what kind of gender they are? In the end the only things which matter are love and happiness. Neither knows a gender.

I have always believed that everyone deserves to be happy and if that means that a gay couple wants to get married then I am all for it. Happiness is all that matters.

Once the law is made it wont be easy to break. They'd made the law-to allow such marriages. Anyway i don't think the issue is a taboo anymore in the US/UK or in some European countries.
