We have a calendar in every room of the house. Never know when you might forget what day it is, LOL. It really is nice not to have to figure out dates coming up when you have something physically to look at no matter where you are.

In our home to be honest with you I don't have a calendar hanging on the wall. Promise! We are only two living in this house and we normally just use the clock on the computer. I have however a calendar on top of my CPU but I didn't hang it. I just look in it when I need to see days of months back.

I like to hang a calendar in my lounge and in my baby son's bedroom. The one in my lounge is always a one with large of tropical beaches. It can have title like paradise, dreams, beaches or islands. It fits in well with my theme in my lounge. When I moved to here the lounge was painted in blue and yellow. I like this color scheme. Last year my baby son's calendar was a smaller one of tropical beaches. But this year I haven't yet bought his calendar. I am thinking of getting one that I have seen that is an under water one. It shows pictures of coral reefs and colorful fish. He has many sea animal toys and so I think he would like this. I write appointments in my diary. The calendars we have in my house are just for show.

I used to hang date calendar in my room or at the rooms of my home to decorate the walls and also to inform about the date the day and months of the year. But this fashion seeming out of date now. We have calendar in our cell phones. These tell about the time and dates. This replaces calendars and time pieces and wall clocks etc. Now wrist watches also seeming some thing extra. This all happened due to revolution in electronic technology. But we still are using the wall hangings as wall calendar which has nor replacement for decorating the walls of our home.

Yes, I hang date calendar at my home walls. I also prefere the calendar which have day by day pappers. When i cut off the day papper, i feel that another day has been come, and should take care and try to get use of that day.

we only have a small house but yes there is a date calendar... we have one hanging on the bedroom door. but back at my parents house there seems like 3 date calendars hanging around. one in the living room, one in my parents bedroom and one more upstairs. the calendar varies acctually. i like those with the big letters so i can see them even from afar. but i also like those with cute pictures so they'd also serve as a wall decor or something like that.

I have 2. One on the computer screen and the other hangs prominently on my frig in the kitchen! I use it as a scheduler, if it happens in our family...it had better be on the calander. I don't know what we would do without it!

Sure, it's so important thing. It can not only remind of the date, but also mark the important date. My calenda is a cartoon style:)

Yes I hang calendars in rooms that i use usually. For example I hung calendars in my bedroom, office room, dining room etc.. I think its better to keep them there because by seeing this calendars only we get reminded to look the date. Otherwise I will forget to look the date. Hence will not know the date at all.

I have one calendar, on our bedroom wall. It's a Monet calendar, very pretty. We usually only use one, but I also have a calendar of Scotland lying about. It's not being used though.

We have a narrow long claendar hanging on the wall in our kitchen in here in England. We write appointments on it. In the USA I always have one hanging on the side of the fridge for the same reason. They help to keep me a little bit organised.

I have two calendars at my home. One is in the kitchen; it's from a Polish deli, and every day is designated as a certain name day (a Saint's feastday, in other words). But everything is written in Polish, which I can understand but not read, so it's no help in finding out the holidays that are happening. The other is a Kandinsky (expressionist artist) calendar in my bedroom; it designates the holidays that occur in the US, Canada, the UK, Sweden, the Netherlands, New Zealand, and a few other countries. It's also very eye captivating, but what else do you expect with Kandinsky.

My dad hangs one up every January. And in March or April we notice that the calendar is still in Jan. It's the same thing every year... So I guess it's useless... But he hangs it up every year anyway.
