Children and Attention

Are there times that maybe your child(ren) receive more attention from a close relative then what another sibling in the same family does? Just how has it affected your child? Did you confront that person?

We had a baby boy after 15 yrs in our family and everyone loves him a lot and till now we never had expierenced such a problem.

Well when my two youngest kids were real little. My dad would come and get my son quite a bit. My son is a grandpa's boy. But it never really seemed to bother my daughter because she was less than a year old at the time and really didn't know what was going on. But now he divides the time out evenly between them. He tries not to give one more attention than the other.

Hats off to Grandpa!! There are lots of folks out there that just don't care or don't realize the damages they can do to a child by given one child more attention than the other..
