any one here who know "UK THE NATIONAL LOTTERY"?Is this a scam or not?did you got an e-mail from them also stating that you are choosen to be one of the winner and asking to confirm it by sending your name, address, email add., contact no.?and also stating you had won a certain amount like 900,000Pounds. Its a big cash prize but they are asking for a Big amount of $800+++USD of the subcharges just for you to get the said prize.and for me these things is too much as well as the said charges. Is this thing a scam or true?and for me if i really won why should they ask for a certain charge and why didnt deduct it from my said winnings, i think they only got money from innocent people. I need your help/opinion/reaction

hi chumm525, of course, you are kidding, are you not? the UK lottery thing is one of the most obvious scams you could find! yet some people must STILL be dumb enough or desperate enough to fork over the $800 "administration fee" to collect their fictional "winnings", otherwise the scam wouldn't just keep going on and on and on like it has. if you send money to these people, you will never see it OR your "winnings" ever again. until you get your NEXT email telling you how much you've won in the UK national lottery (and please send $800 administration fees to collect)...

hi chumm525, I get heaps of the UK national lottery scam emails in my inbox every day. As well as Nigerian bank scams and every other scam email going out there. There's not much you can do to STOP the emails, because the crooks who are sending them are very persistent. They even send these idiot scam messages through the safelists. The best you can do is to set up a filter to block any emails with "UK national lottery" or "you've won!" or "you're a winner!" in them. Or get a new email address and be careful who gets hold of it. Otherwise, just be sure to trash any emails that you get like that as soon as you get them.

I also have received the email but i know its scam as i have never participated in that then how can i won :) so it is the obvious reason to call it scam so beware of it and never send a penny to them or else you will be cursing yourself.

I get lots of this kind of emails but don't respond to them. I got a check though for a few cents but I think they just want to pull my leg off on that. I think this is a fraud since I didn't even join anything..so how could I win..Hope you dont get taken by their scam work.
