Did your father ever beat you in your childhood?for what reasons?

getting beating from dad is a common thing in childhood as we commit many mistakes for which we are often scolded or been slapped or caned and that can't be counted .......... i myself have been many times slapped for various reasons and i was 1st time beated for kissing my neighbour's gal and her mom compian to mine and my dad gave me a nice beating and that was for 1st time.............. when i think abut it i just break down to laughters

My father have never beaten me or has done anything which will hurt me physically. But he used to scold me whenever I do something bad. My mother used to beat me for the silly things I used to do. I think most of the fathers are like that to their girl children.

My dad never really beat me, but he used to stick me in the shower with all my clothes on and turn on the cold water. It was horrible, I cant even remember what I was being punished for. It was weird though because when my parents were together, he never did anything like that to me. And then when I went to visit him when I was like 8 he just freaked out. I think it was a good experience looking back on it now. I know exactly how it feels, and it makes me want to never do it to my children when I have them. Secondly, my step dad and I came pretty close to fighting. I dont think that he would have beat me though, because he was starting to get pretty fat. If you're a dad, dont beat your kids!
