Best and Worst Thing You Bought?

What was the one best thing and the one worst thing that you spent money on?
For me, the best was a $170 Cole Haan bag. It's leather, big and stylish. It practically goes with almost anything I wear. The worst is spending $60 on my children's pictures in a photography studio. There was no child wrangler and the pictures were very plain. My sister's boyfriend takes more beautiful pictures for free and I can always develop them from Snapfish for a lot lower price.

I think I know what you mean. Just went shopping today because this store was on MAJOR SALE. Bought a ton of stuff for myself but went home with a really big guilt trip.

I twould be hard to anser this if it was over the span of my life...so I will answer it based on the last 3 months!!! The best thing I bought was a fabulous sterling silver and 18 kt gold watch that is one of my favorite things..it is both trendy and classic at the same time...it can be dressed up to formal or down to shorts and sandals...It was also an excellent buy...I got it for under $200. USD...It was a one of a kind item in a designer sale...The worst thing I bought would be a pair of running shoes that were $120.00 USD and they give me blisters and are uncomfortable. Since I walk 5-7 miles each day on a treadmill I require excellent shoes...these were actually fitted by a professional and highly recommended. I have always just purchased my own running shoes and never had issues..then I go have my feet videoed and measured while walking and I end up with expensive shoes that kill my feet...I am returning the shoes...even though they tell me they are the perfect shoe for my feet!!!! I stand for 10 hours a day at my job in fashionable shoes and don't have this much trouble!!!! Guess I'll stick to picking out my own running shoes from now on!!!

Oh my! I've heard about those types of shoes. They are expensive! Isn't a popular brand making them? $120 is still ouch. Hope you get your refund.

i am a wise spender and i really am choosy when it comes to spending money so i think almost all i spend money to was worth it.... but there is one thing... this American Home Washing Machine.... i bought it because it was time to change my old washing machine and after 4 weeks the dryer broke down then after 1 month more the dials are not working.... it was really a head ache and a pain in the pocket
