If I am falling asleep or very tired, if I have the opportunity to stretch or to get up and stand, that usually hellps. If I am really in need to stay up for a long period of time, I take Stacker 3. They work very well and they don't cause jitters!

It depends on where im at if im at work I would take a drink with caffiene usually mountin dew that usually wakes me up when ever I take it and gives me enough energy to last me for the day but when im at home I usually just get up and go for a little walk or put some water on my eyes which helps wakes me up those two things are good to do when your at home and feeling very tired.

When I get sleepy at work or in school, I try to busy myself by doing tasks which require walking or standing. I couldn't possibly sleep while walking, right?! And, even if I want to take naps in the office, I couldn't because taking naps will only make my head ache afterwards. I surf the internet during lunch time (after taking my lunch) when I feel sleepy or connect with my friends or visit myLot. When I'm in the public transport, I could spare sleeping for the duration of the trip, but if I choose not to sleep, I keep a candy or a chewing gum in my pocket; they come in handy in a lot of times.

When I'm sleepy in the wrong places like in my place of work, I wash my face, or take a walk, then back to my work....At a public transport, it's good to sleep so that you're refreshed when you arrived at your destination....Also to keep you awake, you have to chat with friends, tell funny stories, drink coffee (although I'm not a coffee drinker), or take a shower when at home...

I usually listen to music at work to avoid being sleepy but if it doesn't help then I've got a lot of candies. LOL

Well, caffeine is usually my first route! Usually about mid afternoon, particularly on days where I had to come into work early, I start to get really tired and slow moving. I usually go and buy a bottle of Diet Pepsi and almost immediately I can tell a difference (I think part of it is just in my mind that I know the caffeine is coming!!). Sometimes I try to get some cool air to wake up, if I am driving, I will put the air conditioning on or open the window if it is cool outside.

I always need coffee in the morning. I need it to wake me up.LOL It gives me energy for the day. And I like the taste of it too. This is one kind of habit developed since childhood or teenage. Some like to drink milk or coco or bournvita or boost. But mostly people need some thing liquid in the morning.

When i am feeling sleepy at work, i think of everything... a relevant job that could make me busy. When im at work, i used to go outside for a while, have some food, drinks or someone to talk to for a while.
Another thing is, coffee at breaktime. And when i was in college and in the same way, i have this sleepy head, i sit infront of the class and keep an eye-to-eye contact with my professor and participate to the discussions we're into. And sometimes, i go out of the room for about a couple of minutes to recharge and refresh.
Depending on the way you want to make yourself busy so as to forget "sleepiness"... it has different effects. I mean, do it in a relevant manner.
