Ok so you buyed from ebay because it is cheap. You are not selling your item by telling its feature, what you item tells or does. If you should tell the features of your item at low cost. Definetly it wil be selled.

I used to run a small business mostly on ebay, i had a web site set up but i sold most of my items on ebay.co.uk, i managed to get a few buyers from our ebay sales to buy from our site regular which increased our profits as we were not paying ebay fee's. Ebay can be a profitable place providing you are selling the right kind of items. You will find that alot of businesses are setting up shop on there and having web sites to support them because with a web site you can call yourself a business and thats the easiest way to get a trade supply of products to sell. By setting up a business online you are cutting out any high street overheads, eg rent, electricity, high insurance etc etc at least from a home run business it's cheaper and thats what alot of sellers do. There are of course also the private sellers who see a product and latch onto it because they see it as a good thing and can see that the product is rising in value this happens mostly in collectables bad taste bears would be a great example, little resin bears which retail for aroun £10 but over 6 months can raise in value by around £5-£10 some can raise in value by £100 but the market for products like that can also crash when too many people get into it because then there becomes too much supply and not enough demand bad taste bears s also a prime example of this, there was one parcticular figurine which could cost you up to £1200 but whent he market started to crash for that product you can now buy that figurine for around £300-£350 that is a huge loss and fr the people who spent £1200 for one they lost a hell of alot of money. It's all about picking the right products at the right time and hoping that the market doesn't become over supplied. I hope thats a little help your way.
