Loved Ones Serving In The Armed Forces

Do you have a loved one or even a good friend who is serving in the armed forces? Is he or she overseas? What is your opinion about all of this? I have a real hard time understanding all this, but there's literally thousands of young men and women voluntarily signing up every day to serve their country.I really admire them and their families.So,what do you have to say?
