MyLot Suggestion Box...

How many of you would love to see a MyLot suggestion box where we could make our suggestions for what improvements we would like to see on the site. There are so many things that I have seen mentioned in discussions during the time I have been here. I do not know how many of these MyLot has even seen, and how many of these they might have added if they had seen them.
We might be able to check yes or no if we want some suggested new features added, and then there could be an additional comment space at the bottom of the form for additional suggestions. It should be a place where myLot admin would check regularly. They would not have to necessarily implement every suggestion, but if they knew that many people wanted a particular feature, it seems that they might think about adding it.

No real need for this since the invisible moderators see about all we do and write/type. Also they are more interested in the eye candy than the things that would help this site work better. Give it a try and then see where it gets you. I would be surprised if positivity came of it truly. Good luck.

You can just write directly to them. We have users here who did get replied that they will kiv the suggestions. I have written to them quite a few times on various issues myself though they have not replied me once.
But the point is, it's up to them whether they bother about your suggestion or not. Just write to them and if they see and like it, they might implement it.

That is an awesome idea Kelly! I hope mylot is listening and keeping eyes open on discussions :) Maybe you could send this to them via email?

Your idea is great .. even I think about having live chat help function enabled as well .. so that the new users get advice at the right time .. Suggestion box will be a great tool and it will really change the look of the site and it will become more user friendly day - by - day .. Hope mylot takes your post into action :)

I doubt if they will ever have the live chat, although it would be great. It is a great idea to put in our suggestion box :) I know that it would have been a big help to me as a new user. There were a lot of questions that I had, and I didn't know where to find the answers. There are lots of discussions here that are nothing but repeated questions about how things work from new users that could easily be answered in just a few seconds in a chat room. Thanks for your response.

Hello Kelly! Yes, you are right. There should be a suggestion box in mylot where people can suggest things about mylot & the admin or somebody appointed by the admin checks it & implies it.
One of my discussions which I posted just once, appeared three times. I mean same discussion three times due to my mistake as well as technical. Actually when I posted it first time, it didn't appear in "discussions started by me", so I had to post again. Then, when I noticed three same discussions posted by me, I sent a private message to "mylot" & 2 discussions among them were removed withing 24 hours. Then, I had some more problems & they did help me within 24 hours. But still I think there should be a suggestion box because more people can suggest things there more than through PM. Replying to too many PMs would be difficult for the admin, but suggestion box would definitely help...vani^_^

I think that it would be great. It would be one central location where they could check into regularly for suggestions, and they could deal with these separately from the PMs that they get about other matters instead of having so much to sort through in their mailbox.

This in all would be a GREAT addition for sure. I would Love for there to be somewhere where we could make suggestions on here for things for them to consider. Because every once in a while I have a little glitch with this site, and wonder if the myLot admins know about them.
But some of the Changes I would Love to see on here is make this site a little quicker when responding without having to hit back or whatever so much. And to quit having the glitches when you hit post response, and have to end up hitting this twice.
Another suggestion, is they need to have where we can submit the tags when we post our Answer to help make this site move a little faster as well. These are just 2 main suggestions and thoughts I have.

That would be something I would be interested in seeing. I'm sure there would be problems eventually - some people have to spoil anything they can but it would be nice to feel we have a little say in things.

There is always someone who wants to ruin a good thing, but I think that we could all benefit from this, and I think that myLot would benefit from having the suggestions in one central location instead of scattered through all of the discussions. I know that many of us would like to let them know about the changes and improvements we would like to see.

Funny you should mention that! I just did a search to see if I could find one on this site. Ah well...since you started the thread, maybe we should use it to submit our own suggestions. Maybe TPTB will read and use some of our suggestions.

It would be great if they did. I know that there are many discussions around the site asking if anyone thinks that myLot will ever add a spell check, or if it others thought that it might be nice to be able to sort our friends in another way, or to have the ability to delete or posts, especially in the event where we wanted the ability to delete it right away if we accidentally posted it more than once, or many other suggestions that many of us have. If you have a suggestion I would love to hear it.
You never know, one of the myLot moderators just might stumble on this discussion and read some of the suggestions here. It would be great if they listened to some of the members and followed some of the advice we have given.

After reading the above responses, I wonder if I should send my suggestion to myLot, or just wait around for the invisible moderators to come around and find my discussion. I think that I may have better luck sending it to them though. They may stumble across it eventually, but I don't expect them to find everything posted here.
