My son and I both have dust allergies. You might want to go to your dr and get tested for all your allergies. While you do that you could take benedryl or the generic form of it for the runny nose. It's what I did till we had our allergy medicine. It works.

Is it working? I'll have to take my allergy meds the rest of my life. I've been trying to find something else to help.

My sister is allergic to dust too. she got hives all over her body when in contact with dust. we dont allow her to take antihestamine if the hives are minimal cause we are afraid of the side effects of it

I had a lot of dust allergy reactions as a kid. My parents made me go to the allergist and get shots to boost my immunity to both dust and mold. I did it for a buuncha years, and now I am a lot less resisitant to it.
I don't know if something similar is available in your area.

I bought these Swiffer dusters. They are wonderful! I highly recommend them to anyone with allergies. They help me so much when I remember to dust regularly.
Here is a link to what I am talking about.

You are probably sensitive to dust mites, too!
Did you know that a traditional bed mattress in 5-10 years will DOUBLE its weight? How can tha be? Dust Mites!!!
In our home we have air beds for this reason. They are clean, cheap, and allergy friendly, also more comfortable than traditional beds and the sheets wtill work. Even people with limited mobility benefit from these beds. I know someone who can sleep all night on one, and she used to have to be turned over several times per night.
But: keep clothes hangers away from them.
