It's a miracle!

It was just bound to happen. My husband and I knew that eventually our sliding glass door would fall down as the wheels on the bottom were worn out. Well, it did just that yesterday afternoon as my oldest son opened it up and went outside. I was several feet away and yelled to my son to run away from the sliding glass door as I watched in horror the slider falling and hitting the cement ground. But guess what? It did NOT break! Was it a miracle? I think so. It could have shattered, after all. I called my husband to let him know what happened and he did not seem to believe me that the slider wasn't broken...until he came home and saw it for himself. He put it back on with some new ball bearing wheels that he had and now it works as good as new. We are so happy (and relieved) that we didn't have to buy a new slider! Whew! Have you ever witnessed a 'miracle'? Even a little one? Please share your stories. Thanks in advance!

i have seen several miracles in the pas 3 yrs. most have be to my family. one just happened in church this week to a child with no knowalge of God on Monday start of VBS and on Friday we were able to teach him enough that he wants to learn and know God. that was a very special miracle. I aslo nearly lost 2 sons to a medical problem that the doctors in this area knew nothing about. when i took my first son at the age of 17 days old to the hospital the doctor on duty was from a childrens hopital just filling in and he had seen just one other case. I beleave in my heart that God bought us and that doctor to that hospital on the same night to save my child. two years later my second son was born with wet lung and was in the hospital for a week on a feeding tube when we went home he developed the same symptom his bother had had. the feeding tube from the first hopital stay had saved his life and keep him alive until we got him to the hospital and finally got them to test him for the same thing his brother had. By the way the hopitals in this area now require the staff to study Pyloric stynocis. which well save even more babies.

Wow, sacmom. I think a guardian angel is lurking around your son. Indeed, its a miracle to hear it. The glass of the sliding door must be made of sturdy materials that its a wonder it didn't shattered into pieces. Thank goodness your son didn't hurt at all. I tried to bang my head here but can't think of one such scenario. There are too many miracles happening in our lives even small things or things that we are not aware of. I'm only grateful your family are all safe.

Hi, sacmom, About 10 years back I went to attend the meeting of office colleaque. Since I was late, I was given a chair and asked to sit the under the fan. It was about 3 feet from the other sitting members. After half an hour, I told them I would go the rest room. I got up from the chair and was about to leave the room, I heard a big bang sound, I turned back to see that the fan fallen on the chair I was sitting. Do you believe it.

Wow, that IS a MIRACLE. You are so lucky, but there is one thing i would like to say, if your husband knew that it would eventually fall down and there are children int he house, why the heck would you wait till after it has fallen down to fix it, i would fix it straight away, just imagine if you were not there at the time your oldest son went outside, would he have gotten hurt badly? i seriously think you should be more responsible for the safety of your children, please don't take me wrong, i am not trying to start a fight, i just want to warn you what COULD'VE happened.

That IS a miracle. Kind of a God thing. I'd like to share a small miracle that happened to me when I was fourteen. Most people would not think it was a big deal, but to me it was. My dad took my mom to the Mayo Clinic one summer and my sister and I were just all tore up. No one knew what was wrong and we didn't have any close family. Plus, we were instructed not to tell any of the family. My sister was planning on going away for the weekend so she dropped me by the grocery store to get supplies for myself. She refused to go in with me, so I went in by myself. I went around and got what I thought I needed, but didn't pay much attention because I was so depressed. So as I put my stuff on the counter to be checked out, I realized I only had $20 with me. I didn't know what I was going to do and my sister wasn't visible outside of the store for me to ask if she had any money. So I prayed, "Lord, please don't let me go over $20." So as I waited, the cashier rang my purchases up and she told me the total: $20 dollars even. No more, no less. That is a God-thing. : )

Wow I don't know about a miracle but it certainly is amazing especially hitting cement. What a blessing though that your son escaped without being hurt - that is a miracle. I see miracles daily - my grandchildren, the sun rise, a bluejay playing in the field, the daisies growing among the weeds.

Wow that is SO amazing. Thank god he didn't get hurt. Someone was looking out for your son! I remember once my husband was ahem "watching" (lol i am using this loosely) the kids outside. We had a super tall big wooden swing set in our yard. Very tall. I never allowed the 2 year old on it unless I was right there. Well he had the laptop outside with him and wasn't really watching, and apparently the 2 year old climbed to the top and fell right off the back and landed on his head! Thank god he got up, didn't cry and didn't have a scratch. I thought that was amazing. That's my little miracle.

One time a few years ago I was at the mall before my shift at a fast food place in the food court there. I always went to the mall early so that I could have a coffee and read the paper before work. On this particular day I had forgotten my money at home and did not have time to go back for it, I was also have an extremely bad week, haveing just went through a break up and also found out that I had to move a month earlier than I had been planning to because my roommates were jerks. So I was walking through the mall thinking to myself how much everything sucked and how I deserved to have one good thing happen to be because everything else was going so badly, I thought to myself "I deserve to look down and find $10 right now!" I looked down, and no word of a lie, there was a $10 bill laying on the floor of the mall right in front of me. I almost had a heart attack, I took 3 steps back, grabbed my heart, and looked around to see if anyone was looking around as if they had lost some money, but no one was. So I picked up the $10 and went and got myself my coffee and paper and a snack. I was as if a greater power was listening in on my thoughts and sent me my wish.
