How far would you go to protect a friend?

If you found out that your best friends spouse or partner was mistreating her, what would you do? I'm not simply talking about the occasional argument, either. Would you simply offer emotional support or call the police?

Calling the police will even more affect my friend badly. So I will resolve the issue with my own power.Nice discussion.I have added you as my friend.Just accept it if you like to be my friend.

A good friend once called me in the middle of a bad fight with her fiance. She said he had her locked in thier room and she was going to climb out the window. I took my husband and one of his friends and we went down and I knocked on the door and acted as if we were there to hang out with him. By doing this we were able to distract him long enough to let her get into her car and get off the property until they had both calmed down. But to be perfectly honest I knocked on the door with a hammer in my pocket prepared to defend my friend with whatever force was necessary, so that's what I would do. I onlt have a few people I really consider good friends and I make it my goal in life to be the person that is always there, no matter what. I never had a person like that growing up and I need a person like that to exist, and the only way you can MAKE a good person exist in your life is to be that person yourself.
