Walking is easy and does not take much effort. So, do you consider walking a form or exercise or just a way to relax?

I don't schedule walking as an exercise but going to the zoo or mall and walking all over counts as exercise. If I am visually stimulated, I walk. As a routine exercise...Zzzzzz too boring for me. ;)

I consider walking to be exercise. We are moving to the country soon and I am hoping to be able to get up the motivation to go for a daily walk for exercise, since it will be so nice and quiet out there, I figure it will be a nice walk.

Walking is a good form of exercise if you do it fast enough to keep your heart rate up. Unfortunately, I find it extremely boring. Even if someone goes with me or I have music. I hate walking. I need a bit more of a challenge. I'm not a fitness junky or anything. I just really hate walking for exercise.

I do consider walking to be exercise. I have tried in the past to get my family walking together in the evenings after supper. The problem is that during the school year the kids have homework and in the summer my husband says it's too hot.
