Switching to buy the iphone!

Hello Mylotters!!
I am currently on a family plan with my mom and sister... t-mobile
My husband has his phone under his dads name.... sprint
we are looking to leave these providers and get a family plan just for us with AT&T (cingular)
We would get one regular phone and an iphone for me,
which is the best plan or best way to go about this without getting charged an arm and a leg?? Please help!

are you sure that u want to go for th iphone, it isnt that much durable u know, especially because of it's touch screen, it's bound to give u problems in the long run

My brother is practically bouncing off the walls waiting for the iPhone to launch, we already have Cingular/AT&T though. He told me that most likely the iPhone will have it's own plan separate from all of the other plans. He's constantly in Apple.com and in websites that update on the iPhone, so if anyone should know, it's him. LOL. So if that's true, we don't know what plan that is so I'm not how much it would be. I'm not even sure if the iPhone can be in a family plan. We have a family plan ourselves, so hopefully we'll be able to keep it despite the iPhone having it's own plan.
