What is the worst job you've ever had? Mine was getting raw chicken out of bins and putting it on a conveyor belt. It made me want to puke!!!

hi! i had a part time work when i was in the university. i provided private tutoring for kids of expats. everything was doing quite well until i was requested by the parents to stay with the kids for a few days while the mother was hospitalized and the father was on a business trip abroad.
this is not actually the worst job, but one of my worst experience from a job coz the 2 kids were about 6 and 8 years old... very mischievous boys. as in... very.
one night, they let out the hamster knowing that its favorite play area is human hair. i used to have a very long straight hair and waking up with a hamster playing on it is not a good experience.
another night, one of the boys was having a nightmare so i stayed in their room and they requested me to sleep on the other twin bed while the 2 boys shared 1 bed. when i woke up, the room was like a battle field with lots of traps for the unwilling victim... me. unknowingly, during the night, they placed the traps and strings to their toys attached to any movement i would make while asleep. on the bed where i slept were assortments of dozens of toys, comic books and paper with glue. i got something stuck on my face too.
i was a very well behaved kid when i was at their age. these korean boys taught me that boys and girls are quite different in that aspect. and i almost forgot to mention that they were also the culprit why my stomach ached for days... they dropped something in my juice to make me frequent the toilet. i think it was a diet pills from their mom's medicine cabinet. :)

Now see that I could do easily. Chicken is a favorite meat of mine to eat and I have raised and butchered them. So that is not so awful for the right person. I have had a job where the supervisor was so mean that I asked if I could quit. I have been fortunate that I have had quite a few jobs and have made them my own and did quite well most of the time. Even at times when the conditions were rough I made good money and that made it worthwhile. Good luck in finding a good job for yourself.

I worked at the age of 16 at a cleaning company that cleaned commercial buildings after the construction crews! Horrible job. First I am a female and at the age of sixteen, a target for all of the construction workers hoots and hollers and hitting on me....Second, they would use the bathroom in the toilets & leave it sitting there the whole time, until the plumbers came & the water turned on...It was disgusting I only worked there for a month in the summer, never again!

That's pretty bad. I don't know if I could have worked that long. I only lasted a day in the chicken factory. :D
