What made me think of this, is I was sitting here posting on my lot. I had a cat in my lap, a dog sitting behind me in the chair and then my other cat jumps on the back of the chair and procedes to wrap himself around my neck. Well, before I can even get this posted, both cats have jumped away from me. But sometimes I think that they think they are trying to help me out here....I truly feel loved when they choose to be around me all at the same time. If you have pets do they try to help you out too when you are on our pc?

A few minutes ago, one of my dogs jumped in my lap and she's 50 lbs or more. I get no warning usually. Now she's under the computer desk at my feet and the other one is sleeping beside my chair, her head resting on my foot as well. Gotta love the love.

i used to have a cat that, if you were on the computer and not paying attention to him, would stand on the keyboard in front of the computer until you pet him

Well I have lots of birds and they deal with the computer differently. My cockatiel sweatpee likes to type on the keyboard. He usually sits on my wife's shoulder and when she's at her computer he'll climb down her arm and start pecking at the keys to type. Our lovebird Tiki will climb up the keyboard's wire and sit on the back of the keyboard. My cockatiel Peepers usually just wants to sit by my feet (he likes feet) while I'm at the computer. Once I was working on a computer and Peepers decided to steel a case screw and run away with it. Maybe he liked how shiny it was. Either way, he eventually gave it back, but he really wanted to keep it. Some of my birds also like to sit by the case fans and feel the air blowing. Aside from all that they also enjoying chewing up wires so I have to safeguard everything.

This is interesting, when I started this discussion I wasn't even thinking of birds, so therefore I gave you best response!

Yes, my cats are always trying to help me out on the computer. They are either helping me type or play games. So far they have not learned the fine art of spelling correctly but they are trying really hard. I think they come up here to see if we are talking about them when we are typing. They like to be the center of attention, lol.

There have been many times, where my dog insists on needing some attention or wanting to help me when I am online. He will get right under your feet and be like don't forget me. He was just on my husnads lap demand king to distract or help him as well-

I have a kitten that is more of a pest then anything. He comes up on my desk and has to lay right on my mouse pad. He won't move for nothing. Then he will lay on the mouse cord and I can't move the mouse much or he is right in front of my monitor batting at the cursor as I attempt to see what I am doing. Some days I just want to strangle him....lol
