I have this one who lives in the house behind me, but the way our houses are the garage is in the back of the house, the girls husband is in Iraq and she has like 3 differnet family living there with there kids, they always park there cars next to the garage so it makes it very hard to back in and out of our garage, they are slobs there trash is everywhere, and now here it is 11 15 at night and the one girl is vaccuming her car!!!! We live on base so we reporting them to the housing office a few times already so they did start parking there car in there garage but there is still trash everywhere, I guess housing is coming every few days and taking pictures.. Yep. I've been in your shoes. I called the Housing office every other day if I had to to get something done. A couple of times I had to call Security (the couple had a bad habit of beating each other up) and have them come out. Since Security wouldn't tell them who called they never knew for sure who it was exactly that called. We lived in apartments that had us practically on top of each other so it could have been anyone. A couple of times they knew it was me, but after a while I didn't care. I wanted something done. Housing finally got tired of my complaining and stepped in somewhat. In the end the husband got kicked out of the Navy so they had to move out, but it was a long 9 months when they lived there.

just one. we have an retired admiral's family who moved in next door a few years ago.he's ok,but the wife is one of those who not only thinks she carries rank off base, she likes to think she's better than my mother because her husband's finishing rank was higher than my dad's. she sits on her porch all day making snarky comments about every house around her,and reports everyone in the neighborhood to city hall for anything she considers an infraction. i wish she'd move back to wherever she came from.

Yes, very bad neighbors. They hang sharp objects on top of their door to "poke" at us. If you study fengshui, it is very bad. But woe to them for trying to harm us.

well, right now we are lucky. all of the houses around us are currently vacant. they are all being re-constructed though, so its only a matter of time before they fill up. then i'm sure there will be at least one idiot in the bunch. right now the worst problem we have is with the house below us (we live halfway up a hill, set in a little bit) the guys working on the house must forget about us up here and use the backyard as there "outhouse". and they aren't bashful. the wife seems to enjoy the free peep show, so we haven't complained yet. LOL

I lived in a HDB flat hehx. :) My neighbours are quite friendly and sociable, usually when either of us is not around, my neighbours will help look after my house and 'properties' (plants etc.), hence they are quite nice. =) I often have some nice food to eat as my neighbour beside loves cooking some food which she has just learnt haha. :D I'm rather happy living with them, hehx. :)

Illegals, as in illegal immigrants. They stay in the bays in the back of a business which is close enough to my home to know they are there. And they aren't happy people. They are resentful, and they frighten me. They will sit in beach chairs and stare at you. You don't dare carry packages in the entrance they can see. They live in a storage bay area, and every few months, different ones come and go. I do know they have electricity, I don't know about their sanitary conditions. The girl and at least two boys, two men, they are very unfriedly and resentful, and it wears on me. She is illegal and gets no medical, and I think she needs mental health. It is very tiring and wearing to have these people so close. They are overly attentive to our business, and shamelessly covet things which aren't theirs. They don't take care with their nutrition, and think they can feed from regular taxpayers. They never fought to defend this country, and I am frightened they will take jobs from our own Americans. Their attitude is discouraging and with the rent I pay, I will move to a townhouse where there is decent management to make a report. The Rhode Island State police won't get involved. I called ICE as directed, they said to also report them to the local police. The local police sounded bored and it took a long time before they agreed to drive by. They frightem me, the illegals and the ignorant way the local police look the other way. If it comes to their children, and their food and jobs, they will soon learn differently. I understand why Stephen Greene from North Carolina did what he did to the family which moved to within 50 feet of where he worked at the border in Iraq. He didn't have the freedom to leave his post, he did have to stay and defend, and something about these people, their hostile stares, their non=English exhibitionism, wants attention, and it isn't our polite nature to interfere. They are looking for a fight, a confrontation, or a way to vent and vandalize on us. I don't think how they brutally attacked the girl was right, but in some conditions where you can't live any way but the way you are trained, and entire families come in too close, speaking, gesturing, the young men are insulting, outright looking to walk up and insult you with their hatred, I can understand this would prompt a young American man to attack, if they stayed out in the open and always in sight of Americans. They make a lot of noise, want to co=exist as if they have rights they don't, and aren't entitiled to, and demean the definition of the word "Freedom". They are a miserable group, with an elderly domineering "Hombre" type, and I keep my shades closed on this side of the house. I park someplace else, and carry my packages in where they can't see me. I don't feel safe here at all. they make listening to the birds unpleasant, as if we have to interpret life to them, and they are illegal. They are breaking laws and should be in prison and deported. I have anxiety, and the extra attention, the stares, never smiles, always miserable, aggravated, it has affected me. I pay the rent, and want to settle a few things and move on. I hope the ICE arrests them, as Rhode Island has lost many jobs to illegals. These are unskilled, unfriendly people. I have lived in Maryland, where some of the people don't have the right papers, although they are darker=skinned, they speak English, they are polite, clean, and they know how to communicate without resentment. They never insult us, or they don't work or live in our communities. We don't go after them if they live reasonably. I took photographs of some groups unloading a truck of belongings with minor children shouting "Mama" and the woman wasn't clean at all. they don't attend church, and there is a city in this state which speaks their language and provides adequate housing for women with children. They must be criminals, because the city works things out, and they are always running back here to hide from something.

if you know that they are illegals, call your local immigration department. turn the employer in to the IRS. and there must be some form of building codes that says it is illegal for them to live in the building. i wouldn't put up with your situation for anything.

Yeah I have bad neighbors. They don't even seem like people. At night when I'm trying to get some sleep or I just want it quiet they're running around like horses. So my Mom bangs the wall and screams telling them to be quite. And then she comes over still with the "Oh it won't happen again." And just to get back at us she bangs for no reason telling us to be quiet. We don't even do anything! My wall is pounded in because my Mom bangs it so they can sit and stop running like it's some sort of park. They have like 5 kids. 7 people in a 2 room apartment? Oh I don't think so!

We have one house in the neighbourhood that is not owned by the inhabitants, but rented to other people. the owners are not there so they have no idea whats going on there. they repair vw beetles in their backyard. and they live right next to us. the reffing of enjins start at any time during the day or night. the yard is also full of junk cars and its a sore eye to our nice neighbourhood. we have one dog left and when he barks during the night they phone us and say he is bothering them. they also look over our wall to see whats going on. but they have 6 yapping small dogs that start their barking at 4 or 5 in the morning. then they are passed out.

we have our fair share of bad neighbors. we have one neighbor who we get along with a over a year. one time she tried borrowing some money from my mother but my mother said we don't have that enough money lend her, which was true. She got secretly angry I guess. By then we knew she's not a friend for not understanding our situation. She knows my mother is not well with my mother's sisters but she actually borrowed money on purpose from my mother's sisters. She's one hell of a backstabbing woman. I could never forget that.
