Incredible neighbor's behaviour

This story is quite non-sense, but it's absolutely true! I live with my family in the same flat from years and years, and i never experienced any kind of problems with my neighbors. Some weeks ago my parents decided to move off from this flat because the zone in which i live is no more secure: so they decided to buy another house in another zone of my city, and obviously they decided to put our house on sale. So they bought a "on sale" notice and they put it on the front door of our condominium, but after a few days the notice disappeared. They thought that someone took off, perhaps the condominium cleaning service women, so they bought another "on sale" notice and put it again in the same place. Guess it? Yes, after a couple of days it disappeared again! This happened 4 times more, and now we all are very very angry about this because we think it's a very disgusting behaviour. My parents called the condominium cleaning service but they said that they are absolutely unrelated with the matter. Now we suspect that the guilty should be one of our neighbours, but we still don't know who exactly is! How could we do to discover the guilty? And what could we legally do if we'll find him/her? We (me and my family) are very angry about this, because we have never given problems of any kind to nobody.

S ounds like someone dosnt want you to move, it dose seem strange that your sign keeps disapearing,Could you try to put it up in a different place or secure it in a different way so it would not be so easy to remove.

In fact, it sounds just like this! Lot of them often said that they will be disappointed for us to go away because we are a very calm family, even if obviously nobody have never said he/she was the guilty! Now we are trying to put the sign not on the condominium front door but on a column just in front of it, hoping that the sign disappearings can stop now. We have bought the new house yet and we don't have the necessity to sell this "old" one immediately, but we can't believe that one of our neighbors could do this to us.

Maby it isnt the neighbors at all, you said it was a not so good neighborhood , maby it is kids out in the night being distructive and running the streets. yep my thoughts would be to put the sign where it would not be so easy to get ahold of by passerbys.

Uhm it could be, but we're not sure of nothing so an admin official letter near the lifts could be a first step to avoid a new removing, even if there's the possibility that the guilty stands off there.
